Your wedding, your children, your family, your friends.  At Lisa Germany Photography I create beautiful, natural images that tell the stories of your life.  I do so by getting to know each of my clients and allowing them to be themselves on the day of the shoot.  Many of my images are candid – taken while you are relaxed and not thinking about the camera - as it is these images that capture your true smile and your true personality.   I adopt a similar philosophy when I photograph events – capturing the action as it unfolds and the atmosphere of the function.

I started taking imaginary photos the age of 4 with an old door latch that served as my camera. Unfortunately I don’t remember any of these early “photos”, but it is from this make-believe beginning that my passion for photography has grown.

I began to really focus on photography while I was working as a professional astronomer at an international observatory in Chile.  I’ve always been drawn to remote and unusual places, and South America provided the perfect inspiration for my photography.  I have since visited many off-the-beaten-path places and you can find a selection of images from these travels in my World galleries.

While I still take every opportunity to photograph fascinating places around the world, my focus is now working with people to help tell their stories through quality imagery.   Every life is full of interesting stories.  My images bring those stories to life.
